i've been scribbling in moleskins in the middle of the night again. those 20-something degree nights where i've had the air-con on so high i've needed over sized teacups of apple tea to keep warm.



lately i've seen the rapture (&met/fell in love with luke jenner), taken drive-through maccas coffee to the drive-in cinema (but peered at the screen in the car behind the fence), played late-night nintendo, drank expensive cocktails on city rooftops, let my bank account reach an all new high, gotten lost on purpose &braved a high school reunion.



tuesday i'll be alloted my second year studio space. i'll be painting again &creating a little hidey-hole with a kettle &a constant supply of skittles (i'll make you tea if you visit). i've actually missed smoking on the fire escape stairs &the horrible free wine at the student run gallery. i think, more likely perhaps, i need to be back there to rid myself of the guilt from letting my creative spurs go unnoticed &untouched for four months.

I must say it sounds like you've been living the life although I'm not a huge fan of apple tea. High school reunions! Yikes.

i brought myself a pack of moleskin journals from the bookstore the other day, and haven't written in them, but i'm waiting for inspiration to strike and write my little heart out. moleskin journals are gorgeous.

and i love love love the rapture! did you go to their valentine's day show a few weeks ago? i wish i could've gone to that!

you're really, really brave for going to that high school reunion - i doubt i'd go back even if someone paid me. it seems far too daunting. i'm excited that you're going to be creating art again soon! i'm really looking forward to seeing what amazing thing you'll come up with next. and i'd totally visit you at your studio. with pop rocks. and cookies. and this:

i carry the mini brown ones with me everywhere they're so lovely to scribble in.

yess i was there on valentines day &i hate to rub salt in the wound but they were really incredible. such a better experience from when i saw them last year at v fest.

haha reunion was pretty horrible really. i made sure i went out for dinner to get sufficiently boozed prior but i'm well over most people from that period.

you're such a darling that looks like the most incredible game i've ever seen how is it i've never played it before. seriously, visit haha.

it is pretty much the funnest game ever! its basically an epic journey (possibly froddo baggins & co style) to the wonderous kingdom of candyland. and its even better if you play with real candy during the game hahahaha (i.e. gummi bear player pieces, hahaha). i'm gonna take you up on the visit thing when i have a day off uni in the near future. ive always wanted to invade an art student's studio space on canvas and see them make magic. what campus are you on?

oh god do i hear you on that one or what?!
when are you at uni this semester? i'm there tuesdays, thursdays and fridays. i'd love to hang out with you more than i have been lately. i finally get a studio space too! cups of tea all round i say!!
